About Me

In the Ward

I grew up right here in Ann Arbor, in Ward 3 specifically. My parents still live in my childhood home, just down the road from me. I was raised in this community and educated by our public schools – attending Burns Park, Tappan, Pioneer, and the University of Michigan. Ann Arbor is my home and I am committed to upholding our remarkable values.

In the Community

I volunteered on my first campaign at the age of 13. Before leaving college, I worked as a key staff member for two local Democrats, Congresswoman Debbie Dingell and Mayor Christopher Taylor, and served on the executive board of the Ann Arbor Democratic Party. I have been an active member of our community all my life and understand what the City needs to succeed.

Professionally

I work in downtown Ann Arbor for Denison Consulting. We are a global consulting firm founded here in 1998. We work with companies, government agencies, and nonprofits to improve their operational effectiveness and financial success through their organizational culture and leadership behaviors. Our clients range from Fortune 500s to philanthropic foundations to municipal governments both around the world and around the corner.
